I love before and after shots of built in cabinets, don’t you? They really show you the possibilities of what’s possible with custom cabinets.
Before the built in cabinets
We’ve got a typical “hole in the wall” or media niche that was part of the home when it was built. There may have been an option to buy overpriced cabinets from the builder, at the time, but many people opt out and put a store bought wall unit or tv stand in it’s place. There are even a few closet companies that attempt to make wall units out of closet components. They find that none of these products last for long, or gives the look and feel that built in cabinets do.
The dramatic after photo
What can I say but – man, we do good work! Okay – you know I can say more than that. Just look at that yummy color. So deep and rich. Shaker doors make for a surprisingly modern touch with it’s simple lines. The center build out and patriot arch helps to break up the line and create further visual interest. TV components and speakers are hidden behind speaker mesh doors keeping them out of site, but fully functional. We included built in lighting to highlight whatever you’d like. They turn on and off with a magic little switch built into a screw top hidden behind a door. So clever.
You don’t get that from anything you can buy off the shelf in some furniture store.
